Eleanora

Presenting Eleanora from Iris Niebach.

I finished this two weeks back but was extremely lazy to blog it.

I hate to admit that this is a very tricky doily and I did have a tough confusing start. Throughout the doily I had to un-tat a lot. I must thank Pamela for sending me a pattern print to help me out. But even then I found myself making some silly stupid mistakes.

Man! It was a relief to see this finished. I made this using Flora size 20 variegated thread as well as Sherry's Yummy Grapefruit.
Time for the next doily - I hope I Finish this fast as I have been sitting on it for the past 2 weeks. This is again one of Iris's Doilies Margerite.

This again is done with sherry's Spring poppies, I love the color...I've got to finish this ASAP, cant bear to see it left undone for long.

They are really beautiful. You did a great job. I've yet to finish my first of Iris' doilies. Shame on me!

I love it when you post! These doilies are very pretty even if a bit difficult to tat.

I want to see MORE posts from you....
Hugs!

Speaking of WOW! These are both lovely. I do like the colors you used. It's fun doing Iris' doilies with other people doing them too, isn't it?!

They're both so pretty! I'm going to have to get my brain in tatting mode if I'm ever to catch up to you! I love the colors you chose! Which one will you do next?

I'm still struggling with Eleonora. I can't seem to get past the first pattern repeat. I think my brain is just tired!

Thanks Laura, Don’t worry after you finish one you will forget everything; :-) the outcome will be so beautiful which will leave you speechless. But I want to see the color combo you choose…

Sherry sweets thanks so much, I promise I wont disappoint you, just that I can get so lazy sometimes! hehe, I have actually finished the last Iris's doily a week back.

You said it right Marty, I guess that really builds up on you to start one. I am really getting confused with the Fantasia one, how did you manage?

Thanks Tattingchic. I so love your bookmark, I think I'll do that next.

Diane, Do you need help? I can send you the scan which Pamela sent me... I'll try and add as much instructions as possible. I know how you feel, I had that same problem, it is one difficult doily. I dunno what to try and tat next... am thinking Fantasia, if i can get hold of how to do it, It is also confusing.
